What You’ll Grow: Catmint and Red Clover

Your Super Seed Pack contains a mix of tiny catmint and red clover seeds.

• Red clover is quick to sprout and loves forming soft, leafy patches.
• Catmint takes a little longer to appear, gradually becoming a beautiful, cat-attracting plant that pollinators also enjoy.

The seed mix is chosen so that something will germinate on a windowsill year-round, with red clover usually appearing first. Later, when the plants are bigger and the weather is mild, you can move them outside to keep your mini meadow growing on.

Simple Planting Steps

A Grow Guide is included with each GrowTub, with clear, child-friendly instructions. The process of planting a GrowTub is designed for simplicity, joy and circularity — so that each component can be composted, recycled or reused afterwards.

1. Add water to the soil (coir) disc.
2. Sprinkle the catmint and red clover seed mix evenly over the surface and cover with a thin layer of soil.
3. Wait while the seeds germinate — and use the QR code to learn what the seeds are doing under the soil.
4. Look for shoots after a few days to a week. Red clover usually appears first, with catmint following later.
5. As the plants grow, you may choose to thin a little clover to give the slower catmint more space.
6. Once the seedlings outgrow the GrowTub, plant them outside in spring or summer in a sunny or partly sunny spot.
