Simple Planting Steps

Planting a Mini Bobbins GrowTub is designed to be quick, joyful and festive.

1. Open the box to meet Bobbins Jinglehoof and find your seeds.
2. Pour water into the pot and wait for the coir pellet to puff up over 10 minutes or so. Give it a gentle squeeze to help it along and loosen the soil.
3. Tuck the carrot and wheatgrass seeds just under the surface of the soil. Pile extra wheatgrass seeds around the coir - as long as they are damp they will germinate.
4. Place on a bright windowsill and keep the soil slightly damp.
5. Watch for shoots appearing over the next few days or weeks.
6. Add your tiny Christmas decoration stickers to the leaves or box to make it look extra festive.
7. Check the leaves on Christmas morning to see if the reindeer have had a nibble (take note grown-ups!)
8. Once your seedling is big enough, move it into a larger pot or plant it outside when the weather is suitable.
